Do Vitamins Really Work?

Our favorite supplement looks like a vitamin, but acts like WHOLE FOOD. It’s literally 45 different fruits, vegetables and berries grown until vine-ripened and most nutrient dense, then crushed, dried, ground into a powder and encapsulated. It’s called Juice Plus+.

Is Juice Plus+ Better Than a MultiVitamin?

Multivitamins are typically synthetic and produced industrially, filled with stuff other than those ‘organic substances’ to make the pill pretty and shelf-stable. Vitamins are not well-regulated, may or may not contain what they say, nor have the intended impact on the body.

Where as multivitamins lack conclusive evidence, Juice Plus+ is backed by over 20 years of independent research including over 30 studies that are gold standard (highest quality of medical research) and published in peer reviewed medical journals like: Journal of American College of Cardiology, Journal of Pediatrics, National Journal of Sports Medicine.

In addition to dozens of studies, Juice Plus+ has a nutrition label, rather than a supplement label, for the very reason that it is food. As insignificant as this sounds, this is really a major difference that no vitamins match, even my old favorites made by New Chapter. Juice Plus+ is evaluated by the FDA, NSF certified, non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Kosher, vegan, pesticide/herbicide free, and clean.

How Does It Work?

The current USDA recommendation is to fill half your plate with vegetables. More specifically, for someone who has a daily diet of 2,000 calories, the USDA recommends the following per week: 1 1/2 cups of dark green vegetables, 5 1/2 cups of red and orange veggies, 1 1/2 cups of legumes, five cups of starchy vegetables and four cups of other veggies.

Are you getting that variety? Probably not. Only 10% of adults in the US do. Let’s not even talk about the teens. That’s why we rely on Juice Plus+. To fill the gaps.

Because of my dose of Juice Plus, I’ve benefited from the nutrients of a variety of plants such as apple, orange, prune, peach, pineapple, cranberry, papaya, date, beet, acerola cherry, spinach, kale, carrot, cabbage, rice bran, garlic, oat bran, parsley, broccoli, tomato, concord grape, elderberry, artichoke, blueberry, raspberry, cranberry, cocoa, bilberry, black currant, blackberry, pomegranate, algae, pomegranate, sea buckthorn, and safflower this morning.

Clinical studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals show:

  • Juice Plus+ delivers key antioxidants and other phytonutrients that are absorbed by the body (this means the important levels of vitamin C, E, beta carotene and other nutrients go up in your bloodstream when you take it!)

  • Juice Plus+ reduces oxidative stress

  • Juice Plus+ reduces key biomarkers of systemic inflammation

  • Juice Plus+ supports a healthy immune system

  • Juice Plus+ helps protect DNA

  • Juice Plus+ supports cardiovascular wellness

  • Juice Plus+ supports healthy skin and gums

My family learned about Juice Plus+ over 7 years ago. We immediately swapped out our multivitamins for this much more effective addition. It gives us piece of mind and keeps us healthier than ever! My husband and I literally haven’t had so much as the common cold since we started and the kids only very rarely have had a day or two of sniffles. If you are looking for ways to get healthier or looking for simple ways to get more fruits and veggies into your kids, reach out. I’ll tell you how to get a monthly supply for 1 -2 kids free of charge.
